This lovely home, fully renovated in 2009, is stylishly but warmly furnished with high quality recycled timber furniture, hardwood floors, soft throws, large Turkish cushions and of course, a log burning fireplace. The amazing 270 degree views from our large undercover deck encompass magnificent sandstone escarpment, luscious forest and rolling green pastures, and we are beautifully situated in a young olive grove overlooking the neighbouring orchards of Yawarra Estate.
Peaceful Ambiance
At Rivendale Retreat, you will immediately find an ambiance that will soothe and invigorate your soul from the moment you arrive. Here you can lazily fall back into the comfortable day-bed on the veranda, or relax on the large private deck overlooking the dam and our native garden. Take a stroll through the olive grove or nearby rainforest before watching some of the most beautiful sunsets you may ever see. Night-time also brings a myriad of stars, best seen by the outdoor fire-pit, before you retire to the soft surroundings of our stylish interior.
Romantic Seclusion
As morning comes you may awake to find yourself nestled above the mists that rise gently from the valley floor, surrounded by myriad of beautiful native birdsong and the distant melodic sounds of Upper Kangaroo River meandering along the valley floor.
